The Fluval FX2 External Filter delivers high-performance filtration in a more compact and affordable design, making it a practical choice for aquariums up to 750 litres. Positioned between the Fluval 407 and FX4, it offers strong flow, efficient filtration, and advanced control features in a space-saving unit.
Built with multi-stage filtration, the FX2 includes mechanical, chemical, and biological media to help maintain clear and healthy water. The precision-engineered media baskets reduce water bypass and can be arranged to suit your aquarium’s needs, providing up to five stages of filtration.
Smart Pump Technology continuously monitors and optimises performance, automatically removing trapped air every 12 hours to maintain efficiency. The self-starting system makes setup simple—just add water and plug in. Additional features such as easy water changes, adjustable output nozzles, and a telescopic strainer add to its ease of use.
